Owen "Talking" on his 3 Month B-Day!

Kate and I awoke this morning at 4am to hear Owen "talking" to himself on his 3-month birthday. He has apparently found his voice because he has not stopped talking all day. He's probably trying to tell us what he wants for his 1/4 birthday. We wonder what his first word will be. $50 to whoever guesses correctly, or $50 to Owen if it's Mom or Dad. We are imagining all of the fun conversations we are going to have from here on out... bicycles, school, girls, sports. Take a listen....

Owen and Cameron Meet!

 

Owen and Cameron were looking forward to their big meeting for months, but...

 

All the build up might have been too much for these two.

Below is a pic that Nana took a week or so later. She swears that she didn't pose them this way and that they locked arms on their own. So fun.

Our O-man keeps growing! He can do more and more and as a result we keep breaking out new toys that now litter our little living room. Here is a recent "toy" that O now plays in. We're having so much fun down here!!!!!

 

 

 

Os first shout-out

O Says it's too Hot in Long Beach!

It was 90 degrees today in the LBC. Hot enough that Little O had to put a wet washcloth on his dome to keep it cool.

O's Big Trip to the Pediatrician

We took O to his 2-month check-up. As those of you who are parents know, with the 2-month check-up comes the first round of s-h-o-t-s. Even though we never said the "S" word in front of him, O looked a little concerned on the way to the hospital....

....so once we got there Dad tried to distract him the best he could.

O checked out great. Here, the Dr. is checking out his tummy, which we could have told him is working just fine. He ended up being 13 lbs, 9 ozs, and 23 inches.

Then the inevitable came. Here is O just minutes before the ordeal that we all needed some time to recover from.

Owen and His Boats

 

We've been taking Owen on lots of walks lately. We love it because he's pretty much forced to stare at us as we walk him down the sidewalk.... at least until he falls asleep. Since Owen loves his boat picture in our living room, we thought that we would take him to go see the real boats. Somewhere Nate's Grandpa Rose is smiling :)

 

 

Two Months

 

Owen recently turned two months old ~ in some ways it seems like we just brought him home from the hospital, in other ways it seems like he has been with us forever. Owie started to smile this month, which is so amazing and makes taking pictures of him so much fun (see below). Our baby boy has also had quite a growth spurt this month - he is now as tall as his friend the sock monkey.

 

 

Happy Birthday Cameron!

Cameron Lucas Wilson was born on the Fourth of July! He is healthy and super adorable and Lacey did great. Lacey gave me this onesie back in October to let me know she was pregnant -- so sweet. Owen wore it to the hospital to welcome his new BFF. I can't wait for these two to meet. :) --Katie
