It is easy to tell when Owen has drifted off to sleep – his face turns up in a brilliant sleep smile that will melt your heart. (I never quite understood the phrase “it will melt your heart” until I witnessed my son’s sleep smile.) Sleep smiles have become something I look forward to every day - sometimes I tear up at the sight, sometimes I laugh aloud, but each time I can’t help think how lucky I am to witness such a beautiful smile. We are going to have lots of fun with this little one. --katie
